Simon Willison tested Cloudflare’s temporary account flow: without creating a full Cloudflare account, you can run npx wrangler deploy --temporary and deploy a Workers project that lives for 60 minutes. Cloudflare frames this as “for AI agents,” but Simon’s point is better: it is useful for any temporary experiment or low-friction deployment.

Peon take: Small feature, right direction. If agents are going to move from “writes code locally” to “gets something running,” they need safe, short-lived, recoverable execution environments. Temporary deployment accounts are far saner than handing an agent a user’s permanent cloud credentials. A lot of agent infrastructure competition will come down to who provides the safest sandbox for trying things.

OpenAI announced that Samsung Electronics is deploying ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to employees worldwide. On the surface this is a customer story; the real signal is that enterprise AI is moving from team-level pilots into global internal-tool deployment across knowledge work, code generation, and R&D collaboration.

Peon take: This matters more than another chat feature. When a company the size of Samsung deploys Codex, AI coding tools are entering the shortlist for default workplace infrastructure. But buying is not adoption. The hard parts are permissions, data boundaries, code ownership, and workflow redesign. OpenAI has won the deployment; sustained employee usage is the real test.

The next stage of AI coding is not “who generates more code.” It is “who can move more code safely through a team workflow.” Individual acceleration is already proven; organizational adoption is not. Over the next six months, I would watch three things: how context is shared, how permissions are isolated, and how temporary environments are cleaned up. Whoever solves those deserves to talk about production-grade agents.
